Dana Franks is an experienced practitioner who has studied the techniques and philosophy of Shiatsu since 1998. She has also trained as a Reiki healer/teacher and incorporates this form of healing energy into her work. Dana offers individual or small group Reiki tuition and will support your on-going development as you learn this powerful healing art.
Her approach to treatment looks at the whole person and she works intuitively to bring a balance to the mental, physical and spiritual aspects of her clients. Shiatsu is extremely relaxing to receive, relieving stress and restoring health. It can be used to treat specific conditions, i.e. neck, shoulder, back pain, sciatica, arthritis, MS, ME, headaches, IBS, depression and anxiety.
Dana's background and training as a martial artist has developed her understanding and use of the life force energies common to both the martial and healing arts and this enhances her approach to the healing process.
She holds consultation and treatments in a peaceful and private environment at her practice in Barnstaple which has easy accessibility and parking. Dana works with empathy, focus and confidentiality to ease pain, restore health and revitalise.
