Liz Gilmour has a comprehensive and long-standing secretarial background and was a self-confessed skeptic; it was not until she enlisted for training with the NFSH that her skepticism started to disburse.
Since 1990 Liz has been actively involved in setting up and supporting Healing Centres in Suffolk, Hampshire and Devon. Her main interest is promoting Healing alongside NHS treatment and is a member of the Doctor/Healer Network. In the past Liz was part of the Spiritual Care Team at North Devon Hospice as Locum Healer and is currently working with they dying at a local nursing home. Liz is CRB registered.
Liz's healing journey started in 1989 due to her own ill health. Since this time many courses have been attended some good and some not so good. When working one to one with a client, there is a range of techniques/skills that can be called upon. The beauty of the work is that everyone is unique and it is always an honor to work those who seek me out.
Healing For The Dying is an area of my work that I am happy to discuss. The one thing that is certain in this life is that we all die. Healing helps the dying to take the journey with serenity, dignity and grace. When a healer is working with a dying person it not only helps disburse fear but brings an inner peace for family and friends involved in the journey. Liz is a qualified Midwife To The Dying.
